Cilantro Lime Marinade

With Barbeque and grill season fast approaching, I thought I would share with you one of my personal favorites in the marinade department. This super easy Cilantro Lime marinade is delicious on chicken, fish, beef, pork or even grilled veggies. It is so quick to put together and the fresh tart flavors enhance the flavors of just about anything. We like to prepare this on the weekend and marinate overnight so that you get the full intensity of all the flavors. Ideally, you would grill, but I have been known to pop things in the oven the next day as well if I’m just not feelin the grillin. This make a fantastic fajita marinade for chicken and steak. Cilantro Lime marinade is also amazing on grilled skewers. Try this marinade on roasted veggies and they will never be boring again. If you are like me and prefer a little more heat, you can add more red pepper flakes, but that is entirely optional.
